I've played the entirety of persona 4 I just never touched golden

The last of us and skyrim I played about an hour of each but for the purposes of this poll I'm mainly referring to games I've completed

I've never touched the Witcher 3 I've only played about 2 hours of the Witcher 1

Also yes I do own all these games

I'd say play The Last of Us first. It's by far the shortest of the games here and I'd say it's a fine time to pitch it up.

Because it might matter to you, it can no longer be platinumed on PS3 since it has online trophies.

TLoU. Its easily the shortest of those, and the sequel is out soon. I would have said Witcher 3, but if you have access to the first two you should play them first.

I tried to like the first two games but after a few hours of each didn't really feel invested. 3 was a much more enjoyable world to travel through for me.

If this was anyone other than SHINE, I'd suggest reading the plot summaries of the first two Witcher and then playing 3. But since it is SHINE, I still recommend Witcher 3 knowing he'll require himself to play the first two and I want to hear about his experiences doing so.

If playing Witcher 3 entails playing the first two then do that. PERSONALLY I'm a console pleb so I never played 1 & 2, but there was nothing in 3 that really confused me.

I started Witcher 3 two months ago and wasn't impressed.

The story and characters are awesome, but there are too many fetch quests and the combat is boring. Also, just not a fan of what I call "Chase the Map Marker" games.

those games are best when you disable that part of the HUD entirely. Follow the roads and signs or wander around nature, don't just beeline to where you need to go. It's much more interesting this way

you can pretty much ignore secondary quests. the meat of the game is through its main quests, side quests and some contracts. there are definitely a lot of side quests but all of the ones under that category have some story behind them. secondary quests, eh.
