For Los Angeles County, there are far more coyotes in neighborhoods than mountain lions but you're more likely to see a bear than anything else on any given day.

Apparently my step dad saw a coyote recently. It's never just one though. I live in the middle of a city, but there's still pockets of thick woods here and there around town. Some have even hit deer in spots.

Coyotes but neither are known to attack humans regularly, coyotes have as of late

Bobcats sound like demons. But I'd rather deal with those than bears, cougars or wolves.

I've heard people claim we have both in the area, but all I've ever seen/heard are coyotes and even then it's pretty rare to see them they usually just shit in my yard at night.
