I only am going to finish UC4 because its story is pretty good.

4 and lost legacy are great, 3 has its moment but its weirdly buggy and has too many annoying segments

edit: the burning building escape is probably my favorite setpiece in any uncharted game though

Uncharted 1 was remarkably average for the time. If it released these days it probably wouldn't even have a sequel.

If you've played them back to back you might just be burned out; 3 and 4 were unnecessary tedious at times. But Lost Legacy is actually the best of them all so keep going!

I will give you Uncharted 3 as it was nothing more than glorified filler, but 4 is my second favorite in this franchise.

They all were remarkably average

That's kind of the point of the series. It's a meaningless generic fun popcorn flick video game that took 0 risks but did the stuff you've done 100 times before just fine.

I mean what was the difference between Uncharted 1 and 3?

Fun set pieces to juimp and shoot through, varied levels and less spongy enemies.

uncharted 3 was the worst in the series for sure
4 never topped uncharted 2 but it was decent
but when you hear about some of the plans that got scrapped it just makes you wish they had used their original plans instead

for one elena was supposed to join the adventure in 4 way earlier than she did
she would have helped with the auction house heist and would have actually been playable or that section. so would sully
you were supposed to switch control between nate, elena and sully to successfully pull off the heist

As much as I love the Uncharted series, you really cant binge play them like Max Payne or Metal Gear Solid.

You get burnt out.

1 is just jungles, ruins, bunkers and wreckage. It doesn't have the same over the top flashy set pieces of the sequels. That started in 2.

I remember clinging to falling rocks on cliff, explodey speedboat chases, QTEs, shooting galleries in UC1.

I don't remember playing 2 and going "Strewth! This is different!" they all blur together in my head.
