There's a certain early boss that is really tough for newcomers. You'll probably encounter him as well. And it's not Shroud.

But once you get used to dealing with the adds and figuring out what mods and weapons work well, boss fights get much easier to deal with.

I need to try it again with the patches and new difficulty it got.

On release it was one of the easiest games I ever played in my life co-op and combat was so floaty and full of adds for every boss, but the foundation of a good game was there.

Yeah the upcoming DLC makes me want to play some of it again. There are still a couple weapons I never got. And despite rerolling Earth like a dozen times I still haven't encountered Leto's Lab.
