The Bible is far too broad of a topic. It's a collection of 66 books, written over a span of many centuries and consisting of content from history to poetry to letters. Any topics in particular you're interested in?

The Bible is a big chunk of history, take 1000 years of peace and prosperity of the Byzantine Empire (which was Christian) not to mention hundreds of years of scholastic theology, all of which is forgotten.

Buy a copy of How to Enjoy the Bible by E.W. Bullinger.

It covers a lot of topics within the Bible. You won't regret reading it.
