Well I'm a Christian soooo...
That said, I believe it isn't often taken with proper context, and is rife with misinterpretation, and that goes for fellow Christians as well.

I've definitely entertained thoughts that were more out there than a few of my fellow churchgoers.
But overall a book I like and wish I would have the patience to read more.
Also some of it's very entertaining.

Christian here. Great stories. Just don't take everything as fact literally. Lots of questional, and bad things in there, but lots of good, and motivational things too.

still no full game about it, i'm imagining jeebus making miracles on the street to make money, magically impregnating women, whipping the people for disobeying god, running on water, bringing the wrath of god to the mortal realm, that kind of stuff

Its definitely not all fictional. Parts of both testaments are for sure true. The Jewish people were exiled to Babylon, for example - Nebuchadnezzar II was a real king etc. A lot of the Old Testament just details Jewish history in Israel. But obviously when you have stories like Noahs Ark and Moses living hundreds of years...yeah. And in the New Testament, Paul of Tarsus is a very much real person, and known as a definite author of quite a few biblical books. Of course, on the other hand, the historical validity of Jesus is iffy at best, which, for obvious reasons, is something most people care a lot more about.

I like the Bible because its really a collection of various books that have some of the most wacky and entertaining people and situations in them. Im not being edgy either. Its got both the beginning and the end of the world, fire raining down from the sky and magical plagues, love and betrayal, tribes waging war, kings and peasants, a couple of ancient cities get basically nuked... oh, and poetry.

The Bible is said to be written by God, and yet it gets changed all the time.
Like in 2011, the New American Bible changed The virgin shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel, to "The young woman shall be with child." Big difference.
Remember in the Gospel of John when Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."? That line was not originally included, it was added around the 5th Century.
Remember how Goliath is 9 feet 9 inches tall? Originally he was 6 feet 9 inches!

As for action game, I'd considered a action game where you play as reincarnations or something similar, of the apostles. With apostley powers.
Peter has a long chain of light with keys acting as spikes, symbolizing the Keys of Heaven
Bartholomew apparently has some connections to gravity?
Two brothers among them were known as the Thunder brothers for their hot headedness, so that's another.

It's something I try to read everyday. Well, I am a Christian.

I love how the book of Isaiah, which has been proven to actually exist, and be made thousands of years before Jesus, literally described the man, and what he'd come to Earth to do.

And I love how the Book of Isaiah is in the Torah, so Jews can't write it off.

I'm reading Genesis and find it confusing as heck. I'm not sure if that was the intent. God creates everything and then creates it all over again in a different order in the following chapter. What exactly was the forbidden fruit? Later, God sends Cain on his way for slaying his brother, yet Cain is frightened by those in the wilderness who wish to kill him. Uhh, wasn't Cain one of the first humans created? Who are all these people that wish to slay him?

Later on Jacob ends up being blessed after stealing his brother's birthright. Huh? And then God slays some guy named Er for whatever reason and his brother O'nan for "spilling his seed". And I have no idea of what the story of the butler and baker alludes to. Just a few of numerous stories I can't comprehend.

Doesnt the very first genealogy in Genesis also spell out Jesus coming?
