Yes. Well - Robert is my birth-name. When I was like 4 years old my dad was piggy-backing me to CVS to go buy some Super Mario Bros. vitamins and some other candy -- and he told me that my name has tons of nicknames, and I'm old enough to pick what i want to be called. He mentioned Robert, Rob, Robby, Bob, and Bobby. I picked Bobby, got off his back and started running in excitement, tripped, and scraped my knee. Then I think I rented Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland and laid on the couch all day watching movies/tv.
When I was going away to college I felt I should sound more mature, so I changed my name back to Robert -- but naturally most professors and people I worked with started calling me Bob. I guess I've *mostly* been Bob ever since - except at my current job most people say Robert, and my gf calls me Bub.

No - but that name sounds super familiar. I've been on here on and off for like over a decade. I post here until someone pisses me off so much that I get a suspension, and then kind of disappear until I'm so bored that I need a message board again. It's tough because I've posted on tooons of message boards in my life, and currently this is the only one that's still pretty active. Most of the very specific music boards I was on are defunct now, bridge 9 is gone, and vivalavinyl is about a tenth as active as it used to be. So this is my best option unless I become a redditor.

I loved the NES game as a kid. I wouldn't play it now, though - because I'm not a fan of platformers
