I would be lying, but I want to see their reaction.

After that I would start talking to them about this and go from there as they may not really need it, but if they do I will do what I can to help as much as possible.

Honestly though I am not sure as I have no kids and never will so I have no idea how I would truly act in such a situation, but hopefully I would be the parent I hope I could be.

If he's not old enough to legally make the decision on his own, he's not old enough to make a life changing decision. He can do whatever he wants at 18. Who's paying for that in the first place?

Nope. If you want that then you can get it when you get older and get the money for it. Plus, when you make enough money for it you are at the age to think rationally so if you still want it done then I know for sure thats what you want.

Given that it's not 100% sure, I wouldn't allow anything permanently altering before they're 18. I'd otherwise support expressing themself as they see fit, and they can make additional choices once they're an adult.

No, because bad eyesight isn't something effected by the emotional and dramatic impulses of an underdeveloped brain. Having bad eyesight has no risk of being a phase. It's not like it's unheard of for someone to be confused about their sexuality at a young age. I also would support my kid getting married at that age. Cause I wouldn't trust the impulses of a teenager to make huge life altering decisions. Him waiting a couple years is way less damaging then the regrets of making major decisions over temporary feelings. This has nothing to do with who he actually is in the long run. I'm just not a guy that supports kids/teens running their own life unsupervised.

I'd tell them to wait until they've had their first ego shattering trip and then decide, once they've met their anima/animus and integrated their shadow..Then perhaps, if that's truly "them" that walks out of that, then sure.
They'd be more likely to accept their body for what it is, however, especially because they're only borrowing it from the material world...why damage what's not yours?

Shame that people will pump hormones into themselves before eating a little bit of plant material that will show way more than our eyes can ever see.

You're Joey Wheeler, a second rate duelist with a third rate deck. Your little sister Serenity's gonna go blind (be permanently scarred by the wrong puberty) if she doesn't get an eye surgery (puberty blockers to buy time and be sure she's actually trans). There's no harm whatsoever in getting her the surgery, but if you take too long she'll pay for it the res of her life.

If you actually love your sister, wouldn't you get on that boat to Duelist Kingdom to try and win the prize money?

To those saying that they need to wait until they are adults, often times puberty does irreversible damage to their ability to pass as their preferred gender if done too late into it. Often the best path is to start hormone blockers pre-puberty then begin hormones during puberty to allow the opposite sex changes to occur. Your daughter will be infinitely more happy that way and you're a terrible parent otherwise.

I dunno why it's so hard to fathom the idea that a teenager that hasn't gone through puberty might make a decision they could regret later. You guys don't seem to realize the the exact opposite of what you're predicting could happen. The way you guys are 100% sure of yourselves just proves you shouldn't be trusted here. At least Im self aware enough to realize that my involvement doesn't guarantee 100% positive results. Life just doesn't work that way. If I could be 100% sure of my childs happiness, Id obviously pick whatever that option was. But the whole not being able to fathom a young teenager making a commitment that they might later regret is a whole other thing. That's just a misunderstanding of how humans work in general
