do not misread my post - the figure also includes mortgage and interest

the computation based on a modest working working class country town in a state / metro area with among the highest property taxes in the country

not everyone enjoys flyover property prices

This is why the SALT deduction should never have existed. Local taxes being absorbed elsewhere just allows those local taxes to bloat up.
