The show as a whole is filled with great jokes and decent storylines, but the last season and ending threw it all away.

It's a good show. They could've deleted season 9 altogether and everything would be dandy.

Not only was it stupid it regressed many characters.

Barney, Ted, and Robin literally got reset for the character growth they made for no reason other then because someone did NOT know how to end the show correctly.
