At one of his rallies, held outdoors on a partially-cloudy day, President Trump addresses his impending impeachment trial, and the accusations levied against them. Of course, he goes on about the media, Democrats, and liberals launching a witch-trial against him, and declares his innocence in his trademarked, charismatic way that gets his audience riled up. Then, with complete confidence, he utters the clich: "If I'm lying, then may God strike me down now."
Almost immediately, a lightning bolt from the sky strikes him in the chest, to the shock and horror of all present. Amid the chaos, he's rushed to the hospital, but succumbs to his injury.
