They know people will come and go. At least they're smart enough to have shows air weekly instead of dropping all at once. These types would have just gotten a free trial and binged it in a day.

This is what most people should do.
I don't understand people who stay subscribed to a streaming service if there is nothing they want to watch on it. Maybe Amazon Prime since most people do that for the shipping, but otherwise? They were smart enough to only make their free trial a week and didn't offload all episodes at once. Guess who got to watch The Witcher for free since he hasn't subbed to Netflix in over a year and they offloaded the whole series at once? They know people will come ago. I'd also wager that the number of people that subbed for The Mandalorian and then unsubbed are quite small compared to their subscriber base at large.

Yeah I'm sure most single adults who subscribe just for the Star Wars and Marvel stuff will be on and off but their main market is families that need to put on Frozen for the billionth time to distract their kids.
