I thought headshots killed zombies but nooo gotta empty a damn clip into their skull and now I have no god damn ammo and I'm surrounded

You gotta save your ammo.

Have you played a RE game before 4? And even in 4,5,6 headshots weren't 1 hit kills except with like a magnum

Why are you shooting zombies to death in a straight away area that you will never have to return to? Most zombies will stagger away or even fully fall down after 2-3 bullets to the head so you can safely pass, and you can just run by most of them anyway

RE4 really made people forget how to play RE games and not try to kill everything

Shoot their legs and run past as they drop.

If you have to kill a zombie, once you get the knife, shoot them in the legs and once they drop switch to knife and go for head/arms

Pretty much this. Theres always going to be zombies around, just shoot them in the knee to save ammo.
