If you liked the first two games then you will like MP3. The gameplay is relatively unchanged and of course the writing is great.

think "loading" is hiding behind most of them.

try to replay any given chapter and see how much you can actually skip.

It's not. If you delete the cutscenes from the game, the actual loading screen only takes a few seconds. They only make it unskippable for about 3 minutes at a time because they're assholes.

I love Rockstar's games and their writing is usually top notch, but they can get pretentious with it sometimes.

that was my point. It says you can skip but are met with a weak loading icon behind most of it.

and I agree with the asshole part.

However, apparently theres a mod that allows you to skip them. A new one from 2018 and not the ones made shortly after launch.

might have to check it out myself.

1 was so stressful to play (and outright stopped working at points) that I just couldn't continue playing. Unless this game goes down the shitter right now, I doubt that's gonna happen.

I played Max Payne and Max Payne 2 on the PS2, so I never had any technical issues, but they probably had the worst graphics.

Max Payne 3 had its moments, but it wasn't a great game. I give it a C+.

The first Max Payne was awesome. I give that one a B+. It only falls short of being great because of repetitive shooting levels. If the creators changed it up a little it might have been great.

Must be said, this game hasn't really scratched my balls-out action itch like RE6 did.

Max Payne's issues were mostly performance-related (and that second fucking nightmare sequence jesus christ). RE6 is the most unapologetically over-the-top, balls-out, stupid action game I've ever played, and I respect it a ton because of that.

RE6 has awful pacing issues and has a piss poor cover system. The only good parts about it is the melee system and Barbaras booty.

I mean, I can't make you enjoy it, but RE6 is not meant to be played as a cover shooter. You're meant to be meleeing everything.
