The later seasons are. The first two seasons are kinda ass, but it's not too offensive and worth going through for the later seasons.

It ranges from good to bad. You'll have an arc involving a less known jedi kicking ass, which is lots of fun. And then you'll have an arc with 3PO walking around trying to find a missing purse or something, which is terrible.

The first two Clone Wars animated series are the best things to come out of Star Wars.

Imo, yes. The best seasons are 5 and 6.

I would try watching a few episodes in the first seasons, and if they're too cringe for you skip to at least season 3.

Edit: The show generally tells its stories in 1-3 episode arcs, and they can almost all be watched by themselves without losing too much. Some arcs do build on ones in previous seasons, and there may be stuff you'll miss, but nothing super critical.

This is one of the few shows I would recommend using a guide for the best/most important episodes. Show is (was?) contractually obligated to be a kids show at times, right down to having several Jar Jar episodes. But for every episode like that, you have amazing (often clone-focused) episodes that, even when the show jumps in quality down the line, are still in the running for best uses of the Star Wars property.

If I were younger when the whole new EU thing started, I think Ahsoka Tano would be my biggest ever crush. They've developed that character and her legacy for about a decade now, she might have the most in-depth history of any character in the franchise.

In theory it's possible they could put her in the Mandalorian. I personally believe that Sabine and Ezra have very high chances of showing up (especially because a brightly painted Mandalorian armor would look really cool as a costume).
