Don't know much about him other than what he looks like and that he's ten thousand years old. Oh, and he protects. I'm getting more interested in fantasy worlds with a lot of lore. He's 40k+ years old. You might be thinking of his prime, pre-throne form, although there's debate about what would happen if he finally bit the bucket. Hard to discuss without spoilers, kinda?
