Prosecutor Luis Felipe Chauca Palma, of the Second Office of the Fourth Provincial Criminal Prosecutor of Condevilla, will initiate an investigation to the old man who caused the fall of a painter which was at the top of a staircase in San Martin de Porres (SMP).

The representative of the Public Ministry will arrange urgent and necessary initial proceedings, such as the identification of the elder, statement of the offender and witnesses, and request the registration of security cameras in the area.

RPP News arrived Friday at block 2 of San Juan Bautista street, where the incident happened, and obtained the version of some neighbors, who assured that the old man reacted in that way after someone at the top of the stairs shouted lame.

The interviewees said that the old man, who moves in a wheelchair, is known from the area, but avoided identifying it.

Security cameras captured the moment when the old man shakes the ladder violently until the painter, identified as Francisco Fernandez Sanchez (46), falls flat on the floor.

The painter did not suffer serious injuries, but he was transferred to the Cayetano Heredia Hospital as a precaution.

Who knows, that sort of thing could pop up as something serious a day or 2 down the line. Glad he got to go to the hospital though.

(Actually one source I read claimed that he had gotten by but came back to do this, for idk what reason.)
