Recently I started watching it out of boredom (and disgust for Funimation) and it's actually... really fucking good. There is a quiet ambience to it that really adds to the show. The dub by comparison is obnoxiously noisy and chatty. There's not a quiet moment as the soundtrack plays nonstop, and the script... no real nice way to say this, it's a joke. Not even close to an accurate translation as they consistenly changed lines and added in little adlibs and jokes that weren't in the original. Buu saga SPOILERS . . . . . I still could never watch it because of Goku's voice. That is indefensible. In the original series I can kind of undertand it since he's a kid in most of it, but once he became a teen and later adult the voice needed to change. It's ridiculous. Imagine dub DBZ Goku having DB's kid Goku/Gohan voice.
