There are only like 5 different christmas songs, with 4000 remixes and 5000 remakes....that's all retail stores play. the same 5 songs in a different package. Its amazing that a song as recent as all i want for christmas was able to attach itself to that train since every other song is from like 1956.

I dont know if All I Want For Christmas Is You is the most played, but I definitely do hear it a lot, even before Thanksgiving. Its even used in school performances and such.
