Does the bank not realize that I may actually be hopping from store to store and will be using my card quite frequently? And then the cashier looks at me like I'm some lowlife because my card was declined and I can't complete the transaction. My card's been declined so many times that it doesn't even phase me anymore when it happens lol.

This happened once which was due to my profession as a trucker since I travel across the entire country. But I predominantly use credit so my card getting stolen and used isnt that big a deal.
