I still feel so sad about it. I've sort of gotten used to it, but it isn't something I've ever thought of as "just one of those things". It still haunts me and makes me feel awful, though it's not something I dwell on on a day to day basis. Sometimes I wonder why things happen the way they do. My mother was probably the only family member I really cared about and losing her was a huge blow to my mental and emotional health. I feel like I've lost a piece of my soul, a big piece. I still dream about her, too. Do you guys think I'll ever see her again?

You may reflect, but never dwell.

I think that's what I do at this stage. That first year was very hard, but I suppose it got better with time. Still, I'm not the same person I was before she died. I don't think I ever will be again.

Pray for peace. The universe will aid you. No one deserves what you went through.

By nature, everything is changing and nothing is ever the same.

A good book on Buddhism would serve you highly.

Light Comes Through is a good one.

It was just recently the 6th anniversary of my mom's death, and the 1st of my dad's, so here's my perspective on it

Its gonna get easier, but always leave a weird empty feeling, especially during times that they would be there with you. However, you may not see her again physically, but she's always living on in your memories. You carry her with you wherever you go

You'll never truly lose someone as long as you keep their memory alive. Stay strong tc

You remember my story? Yes... I curse those thieves that did this to her. They better not cross my path again or else.

I don't think an altered faith will bring me the type of peace I desire.

Sometimes remembering her is just as painful as living without her. I can't seem to find a balance between the two.
