I'm not the guy that you responded to, but I too generally don't put give any points for being a mother, especially not in the described situation. Firstly, it's usually something that people WANT to do, people want to have kids, it's not a need or forced upon them. In contrast, most people HAVE to work, because otherwise they won't be able to feed, clothe and shelter themselves. Additionally, most people become mother and fathers but still have to work. So no, I'm not really going to shed tears for anyone that gets to skip the work stress and still have all their bills paid while doing something that, yes while I'll agree can definitely be stressful, is ultimately something that they want to do.

If you marry someone who's already rich, there's no need to have your own career. And I didn't "look past the pitfalls of being a mother." The pitfalls of being a stay-at-home mother are basically the same as the pitfalls of having any other job, with the exceptions that I listed (I also forgot commuting to and from work). And it's not like you don't have to be a mother or father if you have another job.

Those are all careers that rely on women's sexuality. When you are in a more objective career, where the products or results you produce matter more, then it becomes a different ball game. You hear it all over, how girls aren't taken as seriously and are passed over on opportunities in engineering, finance, and in the sciences. And let's be honest here, who would you rather follow and let lead? A super hot girl where you're going to be looked upon as a beta white knight orbiter? Or some guy that looks like Bruce Wayne?

It's no wonder women have such a rough time moving up in the work place. Half the reason guys are ambitious and want to aim for the moon is to be successful and more attractive to the ladies. When women aim to do the same, it can turn into a conflict of interest to the guys to support them as their own success will be worthless as a attraction factor when a girl becomes as if not more successful than them.

This is true, but hopefully if you're smart, you use that platform to:

1. Make a crap ton of money just from being hot, and save a lot of it.
2. Use connections and what not to make money in other ways like starting a business, job opportunities, and all around other opportunities to make money that don't necessarily hinge on how hot your are.
