And I hate myself for it.

I bought Season 3 and 2 a couple days ago. Was going to wait until my next paycheck for S1 and Eliza, but it's apparently on sale now.

I also hate Bandai-Namco as a publisher, so there's that too. Oh well.

I have had the game for a while and played maybe 3hrs. I think Tekken is a game I just purchase because of how much fun I had with it when I was 14.

Yep, I impulse bought 7 when it came out. Played it for 13 hours on release and put it down until about a few days ago. I'm having fun with it now.

But where's Christie ;_;

Tekken 5 was worth it for the soundtrack alone.

The series sound department is very underrated.

Honestly, I feel that Tekken gets a little too much love for it's music. Tekken 3 at least.

It was good, but it's like.... what Mortal Kombat music was supposed to sound like. It's very gamey and not necessarily something I find to be all that listenable in it's own right, unlike say, the Dynasty Warriors series.

You might be right about Tekken 5, though. I think I remember really enjoying the chapel music in that game.

I'm not knocking Tekken 3 or anything. That game is easily my top 10 all-time.

It's a great game on it's own.

But as a Tekken fan, some things about it are just outright disappointing. Probably the best gameplay in the series since the last few generations, though.
