Fuck the haters Destiny was one of the best coop games to come out in a long time. There's a reason millions of people still play both 1 and 2. If you don't have friends to play with try to find some in game and run strikes and raids together. If you stick with it solo it's still good but not as great of an experience as it could be

I'm not saying Destiny 1's combat was bad -- that was definitely the best part about it. It's really the other, boring stuff, and the developer screw-ups, that bring it down. Are there really still "millions" playing the first Destiny?

waste of money imo, there's no reason to play destiny 1 when destiny 2 is out & f2p. prob very few people are playing D1 also, which is a big deal in this type of game

You bought it for the 360, so you won't have access to the last DLC. Also extremely repetitive and grindy imo.

Make a build of all 3 characters at least 1 special all the way through. If playing solo you want to focus on ones that will help you survive. Defender titan sunsinger Warnock and the arc Hunter. Get a feel to see what you like best and pick your class. Warnock is all around best imo with self rez for solo and arc lightning for add clear. Really got to come back with what class you go with to and what sub class is your favorite for gear suggestions and grenade suggestions as each subclass only really has 1 useful grenade. Get a high impact sniper with atleast 4 rounds and must have triple tap plus a rocket launcher of each elemental type for weekly elemental burns which add damage to enemies. Scout rifles with triple tap are best primaries for any skill hands down. If you can roll triple tap and firefly your golden. You want the medium damage (impact?) ones that shoot fast not the high damage ones that barely hit harder but shoot slow or the low damage ones that are shit but shoot super fast. Hand cannons are beast as well but more so when you get good with head shots as they shoot slow and take forever to reload. Stay away from pulse rifles, assault rifles, and fusion rifles as they are only really good in PvP if that's even active anymore. DO THE FUCKING RAIDS lol. Best weapons comes from them and they are some of the best coop activities in any game. There's a reason people shit on Destiny but praise the raids. But if your gonna do raids find a group on some forum and let them know you are new to the series and ask them to be patient. Listen to what they tell you to do and if you keep messing up just apologize and they will always understand and be patient. Do NOT get frustrated and carry on like a baby even if someone else is struggling. If they suggest switching up a weapon of subclass set up just roll with it there's a reason why. Most importantly just have fucking fun and do not I repeat do not try to be a fucking hero in any activity always play it safe.

Also always be aware of your surroundings and fucking move around for cover in different spots. Don't get comfortable in 1 spot thinking your safe cause the AI is smart and will flank and even spawn behind you. They legit will circle around you out of your view and I'm not talking 1 or 2 enemies. They move in packs. That's it off the top of my head but feel free to ask questions as you go. I have 2k hours in the game and according to Destiny tracker I was top 4% world wide at one point and got many people who sucked at the game through raids and activities for special weapons easily and quickly. If you had it on ps3 or ps4 I would run you through stuff so good luck.
