He's actually won. But like all Saturday morning cartoon villains, he's incompetent. That's why he's an idiot. We're actually viewers looking at a Saturday morning cartoon with the villain being victorious. But it's a two part episode and we're still on episode one. We just need to wait for the second episode were he begins to lose his grip and position (aka not get elected again) and then it'll all resolve itself.

The secret here is that most rich people "win." They're just less boastful and more tactful about it.
So... Mike Pence is the season 2 villain, huh? Feels like he's the brother on Happy Days who went upstairs and then disappeared for the rest of the show. Dude's been MIA for a while now. Remember folks freaking out about all his beliefs being a big deal and how he'd ruin a bunch of stuff. The lesson, as always, is the vice-president is completely pointless and does nothing. ... Wasn't there an episode of Powerpuff girls where Mojo Jojo won and then everything was fine because he's a genius? And he just ran the world?
I know TMNT did an episode were Shredder won and the result was he became miserable and depressed because running the world was really hard, everything was breaking down all the time and he was buried in paperwork He ended up begging the turtles to go back in time and stop him from winning --- When the going gets tough, the tough go have a little cry in the corner.
