Going out early tomorrow but I wanted to try a differrent type of coffee. Is McDonald's any good? I had an iced coffee from there once and couldn't sleep for 2 days.

I only get the dcc frappuccino at Starbucks. Haven't tried anything else there.

The last McDonald's coffee I had was terrible, it was burnt and weak as hell. I like this stuff from the supermarket called Chameleon, it's a cold brew concentrate so you dilute it with water or milk, the vanilla and mocha are really good. I also make my own cold brew, it's super easy and really cheap.

I agree that buying it every day is ridiculous. It's interesting that the people I know who are strapped for cash still can spend $5 on Starbucks nearly every day.

I buy it maybe 20 times per year.

I remembered why I hardly get McDonald's coffee in the morning. It was completely packed around 11:30 today, line nearly to the door. I walked a block away to Dunkin', which had no line.

Wise man post. Usually I only get outside coffee when people insist they buy me one. Which is even sillier, cause now they're paying like 6-8 bucks for coffee. I do waste my money on those 5 hour energies at times tho. Mostly to counter downers >_>

You should source some Modafinil, it's not stimmy and there's no crash at all but it keeps you awake hella well.

If you already have a GP you can tell them you have some night shifts coming up, it's non habit forming and I've always gotten it by asking by name. Adrafinil is basically the same thing, that you can order online. It's less than a $1 per dose, but if you can get Modafinil that's on the $4 list at Walmart.

I like this stuff because I would use downers all the time and it kept me awake for like 14 hours but still just let me sleep when it was time.

Ah I gotcha. Idk tho, it's the only substance I've taken that I didn't end up abusing, just because it does only what it says on the tin, and does it super well. There's absolutely no recreational value to it at all, it just kept me awake so I could enjoy my benzo buzz.

Hmm. I'll look into the ones I can buy without a prescription. My sister might be interested too, so I'll probably just see if she wants to order it for me.
