My neighbor when I lived in Atlanta would pass out on my lawn a lot. He would ride his horse into town, get drunk, and pass out on the back of the horse and it would walk him back home and drop him somewhere around the property. Sometimes he was laying in his driveway, sometimes by a tree. It happened a handful of times I went to work and I was pulling out of my driveway and a horse was eating my grass and he was just belly down, passed out collecting dew. He was a hispanic guy, barely spoke a word of English, but his wife would bring me and the wife food every holiday, and just kept saying "Yes, happy" whenever she did. I don't know if they were being neighborly or she was thinking it was making us mad that her husband was passing out drunk on our property.
