I'm 100% convinced all they did was strap some motors to their "skateboard" (it's a generic chassis with some electric motors they could slap virtually any body on). It's a fugazi to stir up optimism to the company could look good to banks so in addition to the money coming in from deposits, they can get an actual loan from banks.
