King of Cards is a new story where you play as King Knight and there appears to be a Triple Triad styled card game in it. The second is called Shovel Knight Showdown and looks like a smash Bros clone

How's it super lame? They've already done two add one with the Plague Knight and Spector Knight ones. The King Knight is the same as those and they were amazing. Showdown is a little meh but still awesome too. I mean do you even play the first two add one it wasn't a reskin the characters player completely different from the base game

For the record, I loved the other bonus campaigns and was very impressed with how deep they were, considering they were free.

I also liked how they expanded upon the backstory of the game

I'd say go ahead and get it on console now, as far as like performance goes I imagine it runs about the same being an older style game, plus I'm just a console gamer at heart.

That is two of the five versions of the Treasure Trove edition I own (along with PS3, PS4 and Steam).

Do they get the other mentioned content, or are all updates ended for those versions? How about PS3?

I'm pretty sure everything else is for all platforms; it's just the 3DS and Vita that don't get Showdown mode.

King of Cards is awesome so far, his basic attack is a shoulder tackle and after it connects you twirl through the air and can bounce off of enemies, sand blocks and other objects.

King of Cards is really fun, but it seems like the platforming is much harder than it is in the other modes.

If you press the action button again after you shoulder tackle you can do a roll and that helps it a bit.

I can't seem to find the update for the 3ds version right now. (1 AM)

I'm assuming that it'll probably be available later today, but there isn't any details on when exactly.

Really loving King of Cards. The moveset is a lot of fun and probably my favorite of the campaigns, and I enjoy Joustus far more than I thought I would. Though I still have some issues with it; the Curios feel completely superfluous and the levels are kind of short and samey.

After the first world all the stages have a unique mechanic to it like flying ladders or skating on ice

This might be my favorite campaign. I just love the movement in this one and the level design is great.
