Damn_Underscore 12/05/19 4:55:46 PM #1:	It's pretty cool when you have a final perfect fun and then can talk about a history of those best runs, but in reality speedrunning is just tedious grinding. There is a huge sense of accomplishment in literally breaking a game and bending it to your will by only using the game's mechanics alone. Just look at what happened just a few days ago with Zelda, Majora's Mask. Finally, after more than a year of hypothesizing and massive hype, 'moon warp' was achieved and it just obliterated all previous speedruns of the game. That is very exciting. --- Kirbyhameha!!! Even in ones where you can't skip parts of the story, you still exploit the game in ways that weren't intended by the developers. Like in tales of games, combat comes down to one of two strategies. One is hit stun/ juggling until you win.
