I thought that the value was better in terms of the size of the sandwich and price, but Chick-Fil-A tastes better.

The only edge is that it's slightly bigger, otherwise in terms of taste they both taste the same in my opinion.

By default no the mayo sucks.

Without mayo and with bbq sauce then it probably is. But chick fil a has actual honey mustard so that is a huge plus for them.

Yes but, and this is important, you have to get the spicy one.

I've tried both, even lined up for the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich.

It's about the same as Chick-Fil-A's equivalent IMO.

Definitely not worth lining up for.

Its thicker, crispier, and has better sauce. I know the last one is subjective but popeyes wins in every comparable category. Its still just fast food, and definitely not worth lining up for, but its a good sandwich.

In the end, I'll still just get whichever is closer/on the way, but the answer is clear.

Chicken sandwiches are incredibly overrated, no matter who makes them.

mcdonalds needs to bring back the southern style chicken sandwich and stomp em both.

I got popeyes last week. There was a noticeable drop in quality from the original release (smaller chicken patty). I got the spicy variant and it seemed to no longer have the spice embedded in the breading, but rather was a sauce this time..

This. Not having to feel "bad" helps Popeye's win lol

Plus, Popeye's is just better overall than other chicken spots. It actually looks and tastes like real fried chicken.
