Hes an undercover cop taking down a ring of thieves and murderers.

Why is it portrayed like hes a weasel wrecking the good time of the cool guys?

The general narrative of the film is very much from the "honor amongst thieves" perspective. Thus, as an undercover cop he's a fucking rat.

Theres a strong anti cop, anti authority , pro freedom sentiment in America

A "cool " guy who murders people is better than a cop who saves lives

its bizarre

See: How breaking bad fans hate Skyler

Isnt a rat someone who starts as a gangster and then flips to the cops?

He was never in their crew, he was always there to take them down.

Purely as a reflex after she shot him first, still doesnt take away from his goal being to stop bad guys from committing crimes.

Yeah, it's all a matter of the film's narrative perspective.

Tarantino wanted to frame the entire film to sympathize with the criminals, which would make the cop the villain. Turns out he's pretty good at that.

I never saw him as the bad guy. While the criminals were all likeable, Orange was doing his job and the right thing so I never saw it that way.

Lets not forget that all the guys in Joes crew are pretty openly racist. They drop the n-bomb and say racist shit about black people constantly throughout the movie.

So while theyre cool in some respects, theyre pretty shitty in others.

Framing is important. When watching Breaking Bad, we often view Walt as the "good guy" and Hank as the "bad guy", even though observing it objectively, Walt is definitively the villain.

Who the protagonists are and how their story unfolds shapes our views on the narrative, and as such, the guy that's actively working against the gang is viewed as the "bad guy".

This is a pretty basic story telling convention.

Hell everyone HATES Skyler and she's the only one trying to have and live a normal life and has the audacity to call her husband out on his crimes.

Why did the police allow them to even pull off the heist? Wasnt that a huge risk when they should have had plenty to get everyone on conspiracy to commit robbery from all the planning in the warehouse?

Everyone in RD is kind of shitty tbh

Protagonist doesn't mean good guy. Light is the protagonist of Death Note, not the hero.

Do you not remember Pink and White having that discussion about the body count at the beginning

It goes something like
"did you have to shoot anybody"
"a couple of cops"
"no real people?"
"just cops"

Also White which seems like the only somewhat reasonable guy for a criminal (although naive) didn't have 1 problem at at all with torturing the cop Blonde had in his trunk.

To these people cops are the lowest forms of humans, the people that take away their freedom, so they don't have much respect for them.

Whether the audience feels the same way about Mr. Orange is a different story. I felt he was too eager and cocky but I never considered him a piece of shit for being an undercover rat other than the fact that he got White killed behind it and White was the only person on his side.
