Whiskey is my favorite by far but I recently found some rums I liked. I tried Don Q first. Don Q clear works for tiki drink cocktails well (those are a bit too sweet for me) but Don Q gold is FOUL and gave a bad impression of rum for me. Recently got a Jamaican dark, which is great, captain morgan black spiced, which is great, and blue chair bay coconut rum which is awesome. Don Q clear works for tiki drink cocktails well (those are a bit too sweet for me) but Don Q gold is FOUL and gave a bad impression of rum for me. Recently got a Jamaican dark, which is great, captain morgan black spiced, which is great, and blue chair bay coconut rum which is awesome. I'd suggest Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum since you seem to like spiced rum. Kraken is an ok lower shelve rum.
