Robin Williams seemed really shocking at the time, but you look back now and you can see a sadness in his eyes a lot of the time even when he was entertaining.

I think Robin Williams. Probably the classic case of those hiding their own pain through laughter. He did some amazing non-comedy performances that when looking back he mort than likely drew on his own experiences to help portray.

Chester from Linkin Park didnt affect me personally like Williams suicide did but the fact that was also tied to Cornells suicide made it the more sadder and a strong reminder that people who have experienced suicide in close friends or family are statistically more likely to be involved in a suicide themselves.

Probably Robin Williams.

He is one of my favourite actors, he had such an energy had such a great disposition. He just seemed like such a joyous person, so his suicide really came from nowhere.

Avicii. I used to make electronic music and looked up to him. It seemed like he had everything I was trying to get... the money, the sold out shows, the women, etc. Then he kills himself and it left me shook, made me think about some things, like what I considered important in life.

Man, I've had so many people in my life who are precious to me die, mostly from cancer or ending their own lives. Hell, I came close to doing it myself a couple years ago, after constantly staying up for over half a week at a time, and then having the desire to go fall asleep int he middle of the freeway. Thankfully my best friend called me and begged me to call a suicide hotline and beg them to take me to a psych ward.

Dear god did that help out so much. Got my main anti-depressant that was no longer working replaced with something MUCH stronger, and I met someone who helped me become a lot less paranoid and accept myself a little more than I have before, and it's led to me being able to handle and maintain friendships a lot better since, but the desire still can come back pretty hard on me sometimes. I should be ok though, got a HUGE support structure now.

Still, there's a LOT of people out there that don't have what I have. Try to be kind to people if you can, you never know what they're going through, or how close they are to doing something irreversable.

This tbh. His reactions and livestreams brought joy to me and other people's lives. Other people probably wouldn't understand it, and that's totally ok He seemed like an amazing guy overall. Rest in peace.

Even though there were warnings signs, I wasn't sure if he'd go through with it, but unfortunately he did, and I was very overwhelmed that day. I knew mental health in general was important but that day really sunk that fact in. I feel so sorry for the mother, considering both her son's died tragically.
