It had MANY problems (some of which were hilarious), but it had plenty of entertainment value. I mean, the graphics were cutting edge, there was shooting, the challenge was solid but not too annoying or alienating. What's with all the agro about this game?

Of course. Having said THAT.

There was the bizarre mish-mash of gameplay styles, such as puzzling, talking to characters, third-person-shooting, and exploring. They just tried to do too much, and did a fucking poor job of combining these things. There is also the slightly dull, generic plot. There are also specific sections which are very badly done, such as the (very funny) QTE at the beginning of the game, with the subway train. Lulz. So bad.

Despite all that, it was still a decent enough game. I don't regret spending 40 on it.

Some of the boss fights were aggravating. They had so much health it was unclear if you were even hurting them. Characters constantly got knocked down by scripted events. The game sucked.

It was all over the place. I enjoyed it coop with a friend for sure though. Pretty wacky game but in a fun way

the pacing was horrible.

i'm glad i took the advice of alternating chapters from each campaign since i wouldn't have been able to slog through chris or what's his name's campaign from start to end.

right as i was about to give up i managed to get through one of their chapters before i moved onto another leon chapter which kept the hook in me.
