WTF. They are ready to start generating power then they tear them down because they will generate too much surplus power. How about turning off the old fossil fuel power plants instead?

It's happening in Ontario. It's their projects and caused by their idiot right-wing premier. It's not a federal thing.

They have pipes to the US. Keystone is one of them and running into issues. But they want more pipelines to ports to export to places besides the US where they aren't paid as much.

Alberta would have to run one down the "jesusland" corridor all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. It would be roughly parallel to the Missouri river.

They state that they will save almost $800 million in doing so. Whether that is true or not, these projects should've been put on hold from the start.

That said, we need to invest in nuclear. Way more efficient, less space, and less emissions than even that of windmills (especially in the region's climate).

Elaborate or get out.

The Ford government is spending hundreds of millions of dollars this year to tear down or cancel 751 renewable energy projects around the province.

The total cost of all the cancelled renewable energy projects around the provinces is $231 million in 2018-2019, according to the Public Accounts of Ontario.

This is entirely on Doug Ford's government, which is only in Ontario. This has nothing to do with the Canadian Government or Canada at-large.

Ontario is a part of Canada so not sure I think its that important of a distinction to make but yes you and @Bio1590 are absolutely correct in what you say.

The article does go into the details so as long as people are reading the article then they will get all the full story. Just like any article and headline.

This is a horseshit take on your part because you're the one that chose the title to this topic. It obviously didn't come from the article, so YOU actively chose to make the title that.

And Ontario might be part of Canada but this story has nothing to do with Canada at-large. Our Federal Government has nothing to do with this, and none of the other provinces have anything to do with it either.
