Although I will give credit in some countries, freedom of speech is limited but it's clearly intended at promoting harmony and reducing social unrest as opposed to the more commonly assumed avoiding of opposition.

Nothing wrong about it. I wouldnt exactly call it free though unless youre specifically exempting it because of the circumstances or something.

If Scandinavia didnt want their monarchies, then they would have ended them just like how Finland ended theirs in 1918. So they use their freedom by allowing them to still exist.

There is freedom of speech in the US, but said words could have consequences depending who, where, when, why and how you say things.

In other countries, saying things can land you in jail, be murdered by their own government because their laws forbids people from saying such words.

Those types of laws are not in the US, but someone can hear something, take offense and retaliate.

Hate speech in the US is unregulated. That sets us apart from most other first-world countries. Whether that's good or bad, and to what extent hate speech is permissible before inciting violence is up for debate. But generally, most countries frown upon hate speech and certainly regulate it. Regulators.
