There are a bunch of games I think she'd like, but realistically I know she only has time for one or two.

Animal crossing for sure, or if there's a 3ds cooking mama or tamagotchi game, those are lighthearted and relatively simply games she could enjoy. Yoshi or Kirby games, figure out which one is the easiest or at least least flashy since graphics being too good can actually bother some older people's eyes. Maybe Pokemon, sun/ moon has all those cute petting and scrubbing things and she might prefer that over anything else in the game. And of course, there's the professor Layton series.
