I went to lens crafters for my exam and get new glasses and after insurance and benefits the amount due was like 300 for the glasses. Since that was like 100 bucks more than I expected to pay I asked to apply for their credit card. Had credit issues a few years back, but I thought to myself that after 3 years of paying off perfectly all my bills including a car and buying a house...that a 500 credit card woudnt be much problem to get approved....and guess I was wrong. Its incredibly frustrating that no matter how responsible Ive been for the past 4 years my scores have barely gone up. And It's incredibly unfair the ways available to get it up when you're down. They say to open up credit cards...how the fuck am I supposed to do that if theyre not getting approved even though I make more than enough money to pay all of my bills and have disposable income. Get a secure credit card with a 500 dollar deposit...then how the fuck are people with money problem supposed to get the money for the deposit?! I was approved for a 3k loan from a bank, but with predatory interest and I dont NEED the money.

Applying for credit cards especially store credit cards can be painful at times. A lot of stores credit card departments will pull a score randomly from the three bureaus which can fuck people when they have great credit with one and shitty with another
Loans are a good way to get your credit score up by paying on time every time but as you have already seen the interest can be a bitch >_>. There is also ways to get your bills and rent that you pay on time credited to your credit but it often costs a fee ... Copied to Clipboard!
