I remember it being kinda big when it came out and then every one forgot about it after the Witcher 3 came out

I like Inquisition. I don't love it, but I like it well enough.

It's a shame they didn't just build on the foundation Inquisition started. The game had flaws but they were on the right track compared to where they are now. It had a much better foundation than Anthem.

EA will end up being the death of Bioware. It's weird, two of my favorite devs, Bethesda and Bioware, have completely faceplanted this gen. Those are two devs whose games I've been playing for most of my adult life.

I don't even know why EA bought Bioware. I can only assume the guy who ran EA at the time had different priorities to the current leadership.

They're probably the most mismatched developer/publisher in the industry.

It could have been excellent if EA treated them as actual RPG company and to expected them to churn our yearly releases, or quick quick quick. Getting a foothold into the RPG market would have been another big place for them but they expect/want different things entirely from it.

Not so much when the purchase was made. Last gen, EA was going through a Jekyll phase, taking risks on cool new IPs and generally not being as shitty as they usually are. Brutal Legend, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, EA was alright last gen.
