My little brother became a freaky manipulative psychopath whose only goal was to harm me, via both direct and indirect methods, including really brutal scratches and such

But then the second half of the dream was a prequel, wherein he was actually in a racecar crash and his head injury went untreated, causing the behavior problems from earlier. All of this while we couldn't find our way home from the track.

At some point in the dream, I think I went I ended up putting a bunch of stuff in my basket, and when I left the store, all of my stuff was still in the basket. I sat down and talked with my girlfriend or something for quite a long time and when I looked back down at the basket there was orange soda covering everything in it. It was a very poorly made bottle, it would seem

That's a metaphor for the fact that you're doing a bad job bottling up your feelings and that's causing you to cover everything around you in your mess
