High 10 / 10 for difficulty. Ridiculously hard. Extremely few gamers can even dare attempt it, much less beat it. Thousands of deaths. Controllers thrown through glass windows. Hair torn out. Probably 100+ hours doing it all. Demands by loved ones to "walk away". Anxiety-related problems.

Well. What is it.

For me, I would probably say...Blast Corps. That really was ridiculous. Many of the challenges were hard, or very hard, but getting some of the platinum medals in time attack was very crazy. I did finish it, however. I won't spoil the message you get at the end. Made me laugh. Main file took something like 60 hours. Excellent experience.

If we're including staff ghosts in that 100%, then it's too close to call between like every racing game ever.

If we're not, probably PS2 Shinobi or F-Zero GX. Only two games I can think of where I couldn't finish the main story mode on the hardest difficulty.

Oh and shoutout to Super Mario Bros. I don't care what anyone says; this was the hardest game in the NES and took me around 20 years to finally beat. Now granted, I didn't play every day for those 20 years, but still!

Lost Planet 2 requires you to be on the top spot on one of multiple omline leaderboards that never resets.
Some are filled with hackers and some assholes tries to be on top on as many as possible instead of letting somebody else get the chance.

Gears of War 3 has Seriously 3.0, which, requires playing just a whole fucking lot, and also getting very difficult medals hundred or thousands of times.

Star Ocean 4 The Last Hope International.

Its probably a 400-500 hour platinum and its very luck based as well as skill based.

Yeah, games with multiplayer trophies are another one of those "staff ghost" classes.

A few games have reasonable mp trophies, like Peace Walker HD, where you just have to play with one group for enough time. Most of them, though, have nonsense like "kill all the enemies four times without letting your allies get any kills, on that one stage nobody ever votes for". TLoU had four of those.
