Yeah I don't either, I usually just stuff it in my wallet. I'm generally using a debit or credit card though, I don't carry cash too often.

The vast majority of the time I get change, I just dump it into one of those little donation bins a lot of places keep by the register, so if I'm not getting the right amount change I would never know.

I quickly count the paper money, but I dont really care about the coins. If someone gives me too much, I give it back. If they dont give me enough, then I say something.

I haven't paid for anything in cash in probably ten years.

I use self checkout most of the time, so its pretty easy to count. If I do find myself in the unfortunate event of being in a store without self checkout, then I just count the bills real quick. If someone stiffs me out of 20 cents, than all power to them.
