Board 8 > I just had the most beautiful moment in Outer Wilds (light gameplay spoilers)

So I was heading towards the Dark Bramble but I didnt reverse my thrust enough and crashed terribly. My ship went spiraling into space and I did something that resulted in me being thrown into space at such a high speed that I was floating out of the solar system.

All I could do was listen to my character breath through the suit, and I had to wait for my oxygen to run out and die.

Well, it got kind of creepy so I started fiddling around and brought out the signal scope. I picked up a sound and it was the combined sounds of every bit of instrument being played in the solar systems. It was such a warm and charming sound that was a relief from the intense sound of nothing but my breathing, and it made me feel peaceful when my character died. It even unlocked a trophy. This game is something else.

Ah yeah, I remember having that happen to me a few times. Annoyingly, I didn't figure out the achievement until after I finished the game and was mopping them all up though. Would have been cool to find it organically.
