He thinks this anonymous, no-repercussion feedback is okay because "it means you get more feedback". This is despite most of it being useless and the most meaningful stuff coming via PM or email. And despite many authors outright refusing to contribute to site anymore as a result of the admins' collective "fuck you." You're not the first to take issue nor is this the worst people have received. They refused to implement any sort of reply system as well or even a basic reporting system. Oh sure if something really really bad gets through they'll go in and remove it manually but you have to PM them about it. Not that they advertise this anywhere anyhow, so like a handful of users know this path is available. I imagine they rarely punish the user, too (not like they can if they're not actually a member), possibly not even removing the vote (though that's just speculation). It's just absurd. But hey. That's what you get for contributing here. "Hey thanks for the guide, by the way fuck you." lol Of course this all caused a huge stir on the FAQ contributor board when it was introduced. This was some years ago, too. NES4EVER posted... Can you report it? If so, report it. Nope. You'd think the mods would be able to handle it, though, wouldn't you? I can see petty reporting because "they gave me a downvote how dare they," but at minimum clear cut cases like this surely?
