Depends on the street.

If it's a clear bike path, I don't give a shit. If it's not, and they're forcing me to slow down to oncoming traffic to get around them, I pray for their chains to break so I can slam into them without it being my fault.

Well, they were using the roads before the cars so they have all rights to be there. As a pedestrian, they piss me off just as much as cars though. Very, very often, I see them not doing their stops, not respecting pedestrians (including the vulnerable ones such as elderly people, kids, young mothers, etc), riding on the lane made for buses. I mean, why should be a bus transporting 60-70 people be stuck behind one unique cyclist?

So yeah, I'm absolutely not conservative (I'm actually very far to the left) but I have a hard time with them.

If they obey traffic rules and dont ride like assholes then they're fine. When they decide to try and switch back and forth between pedestrian rules and vehicle rules they can fuck off.

If they are going at a very casual pace I would prefer they ride on the sidewalk.

I've never dealt with it in a city setting, but people who do it on narrow back roads with tons of curves are fucking jackasses. The amount of times I've had to dwaddle along behind a bicyclist for half a mile because they refuse to move at all is staggering.
