I was reading about azurite, and happened upon a website healing-crystals-for-you.com. One of Google's suggested questions was "What are the healing properties of azurite" so I checked it out.

Well, I found stuff. First paragraph:

"Azurite stone is effective to help you to activate your third eye chakra. The vibration of this deep blue crystal within the third eye may stimulate psychic gifts such as clairvoyance and intuition."

So I'm like uhhh...okay. How does one start believing in this stuff?

i used to be a college organization that did work in schools but was also very social.

one of the groups of teachers got turned onto crystals and it was the dumbest shit ever. every meeting they were consulting their healing stones and turning to their crystals for energy. they legit believed in them.

but they were also fucking expensive as fuck.

everytime our sites would meet with them they would always try to get us to buy crystals and we were always like nah bro

Crystals are known to store energy and vibrating, this is basically how a quartz clock works, and having something vibrating with the right frequency at the right place on your body will make you relax easier and feeling better.
And placebo effect.

Not to sure where but I read that the power of suggestion is very powerful and can influence your body.... so in ways they are tools that aid in this. They themselves hold nothing particularly special
