What? I always see him trying to get away from a villain while frantically trying to put on a Power Glove or a magic bracelet or a Transformer briefcase.

I bet even his toilet transforms into a suit, just in case.

Better than comics that come up with bullshit explanations on how no one figured it out.

Oh, Batman has hired a stuntman who's been given state of the art plastic surgery to look just like Bruce Wayne and been trained to perfectly mimic his mannerisms. Superman has a never-used-elsewhere superpower to create a hologram of Clark Kent whenever he needs to. And the Flash is able to move so fast that he can send a copy of himself forward through time to act as himself!

Just admit it's dumb and roll with it. They're not convincing the people who laugh at the whole "glasses make Superman unrecognisable" thing, and fans can see past it anyway. It just makes comic writers come off as smug and insecure.

Here I'm gonna spoil 90 percent of fight scenes

Any moment where one man is fighting either multiple armed people or someone who is above human, there's several ways that they probably should've died. Even if you're the nicest guy in the room why are you not shooting every second? Friendly fire? Is you buddy taking a bullet not worth it if you're about to kill batman, spiderman, Ironman, or whoever's supposed to die in your nice looking circle perfect for friendly fire?

So this scene is:

-Have Whiplash sloooowly walk forward and sloooowly swing.

-Keep having whiplash teleport back a mile and continue to walk slow.

-Have whiplash tank car slams into a wall. Hes fine.

-Make whiplashes accuracy nothing. Like literally cant hit things in front of him.

I blame the movie for not making this more obvious but he DOES infact have an exoskeleton under his pants

These super hero movies are for the kids today.

Nah I disagree. There's a difference between dumb and ironic or goofy. People need to loosen up and learn to embrace fiction logic. I mean, why even read comics if you want everything to work just like reality? Go pick up a biography or something instead.

You're right, there is. Characters failing to every notice how similar too people are despite one literally wearing glasses is goofy. Coming up with something completely ridiculous like comics do is dumb.

You mean like I did when I said "roll with the no-one-ever-notices angle"?

According to the 40's radio show, it was to observe people. To decide if they were worth helping. Working for a newspaper, he could see people at their best and worst.

Originally it was because it allowed him to know when incidents were happening as soon as possible.

Then they came up with the "he can hear everything at once" power and now it's a plothole.

True. This is why in the original Judge Dredd film, Dredd only wore his helmet for about five minutes; why pay for Stallone when you're not going to show his face?

Personally I think he just likes it. He feels like an outsider knowing hes an alien and being able to work among normal people who dont know who he really is gives him a connection he wouldnt have if he just spent all his time in costume.

Plus theres his farm boy roots that make him value working for what you have. Figure that factors into it.

It's not as bad as it sounds. He formulates the newspaper plan with the help of a father and son he just rescued from a runaway trolly, as the first thing he did after being alone in a rocket from infancy to adulthood, so I mean, he was completely Tabula Rasa.

And he goes immediately to being a hero too lol.
