I went to the bathroom just now, and I got lot of phegm out, which also isn't that unusual for me at time as I think I have IBS. But now when I got blood, there were couple of dark lumps of blood in it, like it would be older or something? I dunno. Maybe I should call the medical center tomorrow.

Melena can be a sign of upper GI bleeding or distant lower GI bleeding. Get it checked out by a doctor immediately.

Definitely get checked out. It could be something minor, it could be something pretty serious, or it could be the six letter word nobody ever wants to hear. It's still very, very important to get it checked out in the case that if it IS the six letter word nobody ever wants to hear there's a chance you caught it early enough that it won't be too serious of an impact on your life.

Go. Go, now. And if they tell you they need to do a colonoscopy to determine, don't scoff at the idea. Just do it, trust me. That's how I made my mistake.

Btw, I did get stuff checked like less than a year ago when I got my hemmoroids checked. They did blood tests and stool sample and everything was fine. Also doctor did a proctoscopy and finger exam. Didn't see anything alarming.

Yeah I think it's more coagulated than blood from the GI, since it was in lumps and more viscous. It was mixed with phlegm too.

It's 11:45pm, I've been at work all weekend 7am-10pm both days, I have a cold and tired as fuck. No way I'm going to the doctor now. I'll call the medical center tomorrow.

Besidess the only avaialble care is urgent care at this hour, and this isn't that urgent and I would just use up valuable time and resources for others if I'g go to the ER.

This is a mistake I make as well, but I guarantee no EMT or whatever the equivalent is in Sweden is going to secretly think you're taking the piss because you're worried about the dark, coagulated blood you keep finding in your stool.

This isn't like you're trying to get to the hospital to use their wi-fi. I had one EMT tell me that in an effort to ease my worry of bothering them. Cancer is never not serious. And even if it's not cancer, no respectable doctor or person working for the hospital is going to think less of you for wanting to be seen for symptoms that could potentially indicate cancer.
