My dad was a cop for 35 years. I think some aspects of it I could do, but I'm not a people person and have trouble interacting with strangers. My dad also has this gift where he can remember anyone's name after meeting them once, even if he sees them years later, whereas I tend to forget a person's name before I'm even done talking to them.
